What would you say your greatest struggle right now in relation to the community is?
“That is probably Covid, what happens after this? Like what's going to be left you know, Jim talked about another kind of thing that keeps us together and those are the public houses, what's going to happen to them after a year of being closed?”
“It is worrying, I'm working all the way through the pandemic, but I think there's going to be a lot of poverty, for one of the better words, at the end of this, and that's going to be worrying for Ireland, let alone for Carrigtwohill. We didn't have a World War, this is OUR World War. What happens next and how we survive and flourish is going to define the next 25 years of Ireland.”
